Retire the paper ledger.
One place for the rent, electricity, payments and deposits of every unit.
RentDera replaces the notebook, the monthly mental math and the reminder you keep forgetting to send, with one app on your phone.

Every month, the same notebook.
If you collect rent from a few buildings, you know how the month goes.
“I write it all in a notebook, and every month I add it up again.”
“I go door to door for the meter readings, then work out each bill by hand.”
“A tenant says they paid 12,000 last month. My notebook says 10,000.”

The sums a notebook leaves to you
Electricity and water by the meter
Enter this month's reading. The units and the charge come from last month's reading and your rate.
- Previous reading
- 1,240
- This month
- 1,318
- 78 units at Rs. 15
- Rs. 1,170
In नेपाली, with Bikram Sambat dates
The whole app runs in Nepali as well as English, with Bikram Sambat months beside Gregorian dates.
Half now, half later
A part-payment leaves the balance on the bill, not in the margin of a page.
- Bill for 2A
- Rs. 22,000
- Paid in cash
- Rs. 12,000
- Balance
- Rs. 10,000
Receipts and reminders on WhatsApp or SMS
With the amount and the date, ready to send. Your tenants hear from you the way they already do.
Deposits and advances
Tracked per tenant, so what you hold is never a guess.
Charges of your own
Waste, parking, a repair, a discount, an advance. One-off or every month.
What you get back
Once the sums, the receipts and the reminders stop being your job, this is what changes.
You know who owes what
Expected, collected and outstanding rent sit on the first screen you open. The numbers agree down to the rupee.
No more arguments over what was paid
Every payment is recorded with its date and method, and the tenant gets a receipt. You both look at the same numbers.
Your evenings back
The month's bills add themselves up, so the evening of sums with a calculator is gone.
Tenants hear from you on time
Reminders carry the amount and the date, ready to send on WhatsApp or SMS.
How a month works
You set things up once. After that, each month's dues are waiting for you.
Your building is in the app
Add the property, then each rentable unit and the rent you charge for it.

Every unit knows its tenant
Name, phone, lease start, the day rent falls due and the deposit you hold. Your tenant does not need the app.

Each month's bills are ready, and every payment has a receipt
Rent, meter readings and recurring charges add themselves up. Mark a payment in full or in part, then share the receipt on WhatsApp or SMS.

Made here, for landlords here
RentDera is new, so there are no reviews to show yet. Here is what we can promise instead.
RentDera never touches the money
Rent is paid the way you and your tenant already agree: cash, bank transfer, eSewa, Khalti. RentDera records that the payment happened and produces the receipt. It is a ledger and a record-keeping tool. It does not process, hold or transfer funds, and it is not a party to your lease. Terms of Service
