These Terms govern your use of RentDera, built by Notils ("Notils", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use RentDera.
Data & support infrastructure
RentDera is built and operated on the Notils platform. Notils handles authentication, data storage, and support communications for RentDera — that's why requests and questions go through a Notils address rather than a separate RentDera one. For support or account questions, contact support@notils.com; for privacy and deletion, privacy@notils.com.
1. What RentDera is
RentDera is a rent-management tool for landlords: track properties and units, assign tenants, generate monthly dues (including recurring charges you configure), record payments, and share receipts and reminders. Landlords can also invite their tenants to see their own tenancy in the app. It is a record-keeping and communication tool. It does not process rent payments, does not hold funds on anyone's behalf, and does not act as a party to any lease or tenancy agreement.
2. Your account
- You must provide accurate information when you sign up, and keep it up to date.
- You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account, whether you sign in with a password or with a Google account.
- An account can run a business as a landlord or property manager, join a landlord's business as a tenant through an invitation, or both.
3. Your responsibilities
You're responsible for the accuracy of the property, tenant, lease, and payment information you enter, and for how you use it. RentDera does not review or verify what you enter. You agree to:
- Only enter tenant information you're lawfully allowed to collect and use.
- Comply with the tenancy, rent, and data-protection laws that apply to you — RentDera doesn't provide legal advice and using it doesn't guarantee compliance with any law.
- Not use the app for anything illegal, or to harass, defraud, or mislead anyone.
4. Inviting tenants, and what they see
- Invite only the tenant a record is about, at a phone number or email address they gave you. An invitation expires after 72 hours and can be accepted only by an account holding that number or address.
- A tenant who joins sees their own records — lease, dues, payments, receipts — and the contact details you set in Settings → Business, as described in our Privacy Policy. You're responsible for those records being accurate, and for having the right to show them, and your contact details, to that tenant.
- You can remove a tenant's access at any time, and should when a tenancy ends. Once removed, they see nothing of your business in the app; the records stay in your ledger.
- If you're a tenant: your access is given, and can be ended, by your landlord, and the records you see are your landlord's. Questions or disagreements about them are between you and your landlord — RentDera shows what they recorded, and doesn't verify it.
5. Payments happen outside the app
Rent is paid by a tenant to a landlord directly, using whatever method they already agree on. RentDera records that a payment was made and generates a receipt — it does not transmit, hold, or guarantee any payment. We are not responsible for a payment that is never actually made, disputed, or reversed outside the app; that's between you and your tenant.
6. RentDera Pro, and what the free plan covers
RentDera is free to use for one property and up to five units. Every feature works on the free plan — the plan decides how much you can manage, not what the app can do. Adding beyond that limit requires RentDera Pro, an optional paid subscription.
If you already have more than five units recorded, you keep them. The limit applies to adding more, never to what you have already entered, and we will not delete or hide your records because a subscription lapsed.
Billing. Pro is sold and billed by Google Play, not by us, and is subject to Google’s own terms. Monthly and yearly plans renew automatically at the price shown at purchase until you cancel. Prices vary by country and are shown inclusive or exclusive of local tax according to your local rules.
Cancelling. Cancel any time from your Google Play subscriptions. You keep Pro until the end of the period you have already paid for; we do not pro-rate a partly used period, and cancelling does not delete your data.
Refunds and withdrawal. RentDera Pro is a service, not digital content. If you are a consumer in the EEA or the UK, you may withdraw within 14 days of purchase and will be charged only for the portion of the period already supplied. Elsewhere, refunds are handled under Google Play’s refund policy. Contact us at support@notils.comand we will help either way.
Price changes. We may change prices. An existing subscription keeps its price until you are notified and, where the law or Google Play requires it, you consent to the new one.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to disrupt the app or its backend services.
- Use the app to store or transmit data you don't have the right to share.
- Attempt to access another account or organization's data.
- Send invitations to people who aren't your tenants, or to message anyone else.
8. Availability and changes
RentDera is under active development. Features may change, and the service may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance or due to factors outside our control. We may add, change, or remove features as the app evolves.
9. Disclaimer of warranty
RentDera is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose. You're responsible for backing up anything you can't afford to lose and for verifying your own financial records independently.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Notils is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of RentDera, including disputes between you and a tenant, or reliance on data recorded in the app.
11. Termination
You can stop using RentDera and request deletion of your account at any time — see Account & Data Deletion. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Nepal, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless a different jurisdiction is required by applicable law.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the app changes. We'll update the date at the top of this page whenever we do, and for material changes, we'll let you know in the app.
